Open Day
We are holding an open day on Sunday 11th May.
Come and visit the airfield, see the gliders and take a trial lesson.

If you choose to take a flight with us you will fly with a British Gliding Association qualified instructor who will start with a short briefing covering safety and an explanation of the controls and instruments. During the flight you will have the opportunity to take control of the glider and if you live near the airfield we can take you to see your house.
We offer a choice of launch methods to visitors. You can take an exhilarating winch launch which will get you to 1500' or more above the airfield in about a minute, or, weather permitting, a more leisurely aerotow launch to 3000' out over the Severn Valley. Winch launches cost £30.00 and aerotow launches £80.00.
A typical flight by winch launch lasts 8-12 minutes, by aerotow probably 25 minutes. However, if the weather conditions are right and lift is found your flight will be a bit longer.
The club has Blokarting and Aeromodler sections who will be offering visitors a chance to have a go.
